Master Franchise investors are granted an exclusive 5-year agreement (renewable for multiple successive terms) to operate within a defined territory. This franchise business opportunity gives the Master Franchisor the ability to establish a regional office that sells individual Jani-King Unit Franchises, train the Unit Franchises, and secures cleaning contracts for the Unit Franchises to service.

Our developed regions include Nova Scotia, New Brunswick/PEI, Eastern Ontario, Ottawa, Southern Ontario, Manitoba, Southern Alberta, Northern Alberta, Southern British Columbia, Northern British Columbia, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island.

Jani-King Canada currently has Master Franchise licenses for undeveloped regions available in Newfoundland, Thunder Bay and Saskatchewan. A Master Franchise can operate in a specific metropolitan area, a defined geographical area, or  an entire province depending on the license agreement

From Jani-King’s Canada’s headquarters in Nova Scotia, new programs, new technology and new ideas are regularly deployed based on working relationships with Master Franchisees and corporate personnel in the field. In addition to consistent, open communication between Master Franchisors, Jani-King Canada holds an annual conference at which all Master Franchisees can gather, share ideas, network with peers, meet with vendors, hear from experts, review programs and gain insights into important industry happenings. A Master Franchise Advisory Council also meets once per year in addition to the annual conference. This committee’s focus relates directly to the business of our Jani-King Master Franchise territories.
