Earlier this year, the New Brunswick/Prince Edward Island Region underwent a change in ownership. After just 3 months of the McNamara brothers taking over, they hosted their first Franchisee Days as the new owners. The events took place in Quispamsis and Moncton.
The days began with food and informal networking. After lunch, the meetings officially began. Robert McNamara, Regional Director & Executive Vice-President, welcomed everybody, shared his story, and vision for the Region’s future.
Next up: guest speakers and product demonstrations. Representatives from Wood Wyant talked about the newest and most popular products on the market. Dave Humphreys, a representative from Venture Distribution and Pro Team, gave brief demonstrations of two Unger products. Dave showed a product for washing windows, and a vacuum system for cleaning high rafters in warehouses
The events concluded with a question/answer period. This gave everyone a chance to speak with the industry experts and voice concerns.
“While Franchisee Days are always important, these were particularly special for me,” says Robert. “This was the first time I’ve hosted events like this, and I couldn’t have done it without the help of Michelle and Jim from the NB team. It was a great opportunity to bring everyone together and meet face-to-face. I’d like to thank everyone who came out and made the events a success!”
