Agum Wadhwa, Marketing Manager at Jani-King of Eastern Ontario, recently attended the Canadian Franchise Association’s Marketing & Operations Day, held on June 4, 2026, at The Old Mill in Toronto, Ontario. The event provided a valuable opportunity to step away from day-to-day responsibilities and connect with other professionals who work within and support franchise networks.
Reflecting on the experience Agum shared, “Marketing & Operations Day was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow franchise professionals, exchange ideas, and learn about new strategies that will help us better support our Franchise Owners and customers. I came away with valuable insights and look forward to putting them into practice here in Eastern Ontario.”
Overall, the event offered practical insights, honest discussions and the opportunity to connect with people who understand the franchise industry from different perspectives. Agum appreciated the opportunity to attend and came away with a stronger appreciation for the role that leadership, communication, transparency and collaboration play in building a successful franchise network.
